we are church

We are the church! We definitely do not want to encourage those who say, “I don’t need organized religion" or "I have my own relationship with Jesus, and that’s enough...” Those types of statements reek of arrogance and show a disregard for God's purpose of building His church (Matt. 16:18). While we agree that much of what is called “church” nowadays is far from what Christ intended, the wrong response is to sin against God by refusing to partner together with other believers to advance the gospel God's way - through His church. The right response is to fight for the church by fostering change.

We are a group of Christ-followers gathering to practice what Christ and the early church held dear. Buildings and programs are fine but can’t be the priority. It’s about His people living in community in order to display an accurate picture of Jesus Christ for all to see (1 John 4:7-12). God longs to see His children gathering together to love one another and to encourage each other to stay focused on His mission. We hope that this website will equip believers to display the gospel of Jesus Christ to a watching world by seeking to be the church.
